Valatie and Kinderhook, New York have quaint villages that have cute shops, dinners and cafes. Valatie New York and Kinderhook New York are also known for their historic sites. If you are in Valatie or Kinderhook and want a quick bite to eat try the Main Street Diner in Valatie (great food at a great value). If you want a fancier dinner The Valkin Restaurant in between Valatie and Kinderhook, NY on Route 9 at 9H has fine dining choices. Recently I tried the PI Cafe in the village of Kinderhook, NY and I was not disappointed.

There is so much available in Colonie, New York and getting there from Summerset Landing is so easy. Summerset Landing is so centrally located, yet it is still a quiet country setting.
